Why we built this
Most pricing and ad-metric calculators live inside spreadsheets that get rebuilt from scratch every time someone needs one. EcomCaptain started as an internal set of calculators for a small seller team in Karachi and grew into a public site once it became clear other sellers were rebuilding the same formulas themselves.
What you'll find here
Every tool on the site solves one specific calculation — profit margin, break-even units, ROAS, EMI — without asking for an account or a spreadsheet download. The blog covers the reasoning behind the formulas, for anyone who wants the "why" and not just the number.
How the tools are built
Every calculator runs entirely in your browser. Numbers you enter are never sent anywhere or stored, which also means the results are only as accurate as the figures you put in. Formulas are documented on every tool page so you can check the maths yourself.
